Ice Owls
“My first encounter with Sandy was a conversation on the phone explaining the project (web design). I wanted her to be involved. Sandy was professional and excited to be involved in redesigning the Ice Owls Blind hockey team’s website. Sandy was so interested that blind people could play hockey, she actually came out to one of our games to see it for herself. Sandy said she was so impressed with the speed of the game and was looking forward to working with me to redesign the website.
We worked very hard together and Sandy had alot of patience sharing our ideas to improve and make the redesign of the website a success. The website turned out great and Sandy still continues to work with us to ensure the website is current.
I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Sandy on future projects as her professionalism and dedication made the project a great experience

The Ice Owls is a Toronto hockey team of blind and visually impaired players. This site can be read by blind and low visioned computer users who use screen reading (speech synthesis) and text enlargement software to access the material on the site.
This site uses the keyboard accessible YouTube player that Pete Bevin and I developed, allowing visitors to the site who can’t use a mouse to access the video.
I worked with the client to establish their internet strategy. I designed the look of this site, set up the site architecture, and wrote the HTML and CSS.
